    FAMILY LAW

    Abuse, Nuisance and Harassment

Domestic abuse is categorised as controlling behaviour between people in a relationship.

Get in Touch

We can act quickly and robustly to protect victims of such abuse. This usually consists of obtaining what is known as an interdict or non-harassment order with a power of police arrest attached to it.

Domestic abuse is not only physical violence as it can also be emotional, psychological, sexual or financial abuse occurring in any relationship.

Sometimes you do not need to be in a relationship to suffer harassment or abuse. From verbal harassment to written or implied threats of a repeated nature, we can assist by going to Court to obtain a protection order interdicting someone from doing something that is causing you distress or nuisance, which is not domestic, abuse.

A similar order can be obtained where someone is depriving you of exercising your full property and title rights over land.

We are there for you when you need us most.
