Having gained experience as a court lawyer in Central Fife Bob returned to his hometown of St Andrews in 1986 to establish a legal office as a partner with Baird and Company before joining Rollos as a partner in 1995. Bob has extensive experience in many areas of Scots Law. His particular interests are in business law, commercial and domestic property law, landlord and tenant law, divorce law and personal injury claims. Bob was secretary and legal advisor to the St Andrews Merchants Association for around 18 years and has developed an extensive knowledge of the local commercial and domestic property markets.

Tony has been a court solicitor for over 30 years and heads up our Litigation department. He is currently one of very few solicitors practising in North East Fife with a varied experience in most legal disciplines. He represents clients in the Dundee sheriff Court in most civil court disciplines from Family actions involving residence / contact of children , divorce and Contract disputes to Guardianship applications for Adults with Incapacity. He also negotiates for clients in employment severance/redundancy situations and offers robust representation in the Employment Tribunal .

Assumed as a Partner in 2000, he is regularly appointed by the Courts as an independent child welfare reporter and is also a Panel Member for Children’s Hearings Scotland.

Most memorable cases for Tony so far comprise –
Securing the highest award of civil damages by a Scottish court at the time for Tam Wilson v Fife Council http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/edinburgh_and_east/4946642.stm ,

and most recently in January 2022 obtaining an Employment tribunal award of £130,000 for an unfairly dismissed employee and Director.

Kate acts in the sale and purchase of commercial property and for landlords, tenants and developers.

Kate’s involvement in corporate and commercial work includes company formations, share purchases, investment, securities, shareholder agreements, business transfers, banking and finance and partnerships.

Kate’s recent clients are drawn from a broad range of sectors including retail and service industries, commercial and residential property development, medical and pharmaceutical, agricultural and rural, and the renewables sector.

Adam joined Rollos in 2013 having previously worked with a Dundee based firm. Adam is based in our St Andrews office and deals with Chamber and Private Client work, with particular emphasis on Residential Conveyancing. Adam’s Private Client work includes drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney and dealing with estate administration. Adam is also a Notary Public.
