Having gained experience as a court lawyer in Central Fife Bob returned to his home town of St.Andrews in 1986 to establish a legal office as a partner with Baird and Company before joining Rollos as a partner in1995. Bob has extensive experience in many areas of Scots Law. His particular interests are in business law, commercial and domestic property law landlord and tenant law , divorce law and personal injury claims.

Bob was secretary and legal advisor to the St.Andrews Merchants Association for around 18 years and has developed an extensive knowledge of the local commercial and domestic property markets.

David has been with Rollo Davidson McFarlane since 1984 becoming a Partner in 1991. He deals with all aspects of property related transactions in the rural, commercial and residential sectors with a particular interest in commercial property development. David’s work in the private client sector is centred on estate planning and administration.

Jeremy joined Rollo Davidson McFarlane in 1985. Initially employed as a court solicitor in our Glenrothes office he was then instrumental in setting up and establishing our St Andrews office, becoming a partner in 1989. He now deals with all aspects of property related transactions both residential and commercial. Jeremy’s private client work includes all aspects of family law, estate planning, trust and estate administration.

Kate was formerly an Associate with a firm in Edinburgh before joining Rollo Davidson McFarlane in 2004 , becoming a Partner in 2010. Kate's work covers all aspects of residential and commercial property related transactions together with more general commercial work such as company formations, business transfers and restructures. Kate has a particular interest in wind farm developments, acting for both developers and landowners.

Kate is a member of both the Law Society of Scotland and the Law Society of England having qualified as an English solicitor in 2003.

Ken joined Rollo Davidson McFarlane in 1984 becoming a Partner in 1985. He is the designated Cash Room Partner and Money Laundering Reporting Officer for the Firm. Ken works with all aspects of residential property sale, purchases, securities and leasing, whilst estate planning, trust and estate administration are at the core of his Private Client portfolio.

Richard graduated from Dundee University in 1974 and after working for a year abroad served his apprenticeship in Edinburgh. He joined the Firm in 1977 and became a Partner in 1979. He has been based in our Glenrothes office since 1982 and deals with house purchases and sales, commercial property sales, purchase and leases, administration of executry estates and advice on Wills and Inheritance Tax planning. He also has a particular interest in legal matters affecting the elderly, dealing with the preparation of Continuing and Welfare Powers of Attorneys and advice on the protection of assets. Richard is also our Client Relations Partner.

Tony joined our Firm in 1996 after developing his career in Edinburgh and was assumed as Court Partner in 2000.

Heading up our Litigation Department,he is an experienced Practitioner in all Employment related matters representing employers and employees in and out of the Employment Tribunal.

He also advises on all Family matters such as divorce,  childrens’ residence/contact , cohabitation disputes, pre nuptial and  separation Agreements and is one of the Family Law Tutors teaching post graduates at Dundee University.
